Our story

A vision born in 1988

Yolanda Sánchez dreamed of a space where individuals of all backgrounds could learn, grow, and connect through the art of dance. That dream became Round Rock Ballet Folklórico.

Founded by Yolanda Sánchez

More than 35 years of cultural arts

As a dedicated educator, Yolanda has played a vital role in shaping cultural arts programs throughout the community. Driven by her passion and belief in the power of dance, she has empowered countless dancers to express themselves, embrace their heritage, and give back.

Under her guidance, dancers gain far more than choreography — they develop a deeper understanding of Mexican traditions, cultural pride, and the values that folklórico embodies.

Growth & community

From a small studio to a folklórico family

Over the past two decades, participation has grown year after year. Today, more than one hundred dancers attend classes — learning the colors, rhythms, and spirit of Mexico while connecting with their community.
