Yolanda Sanchez established Round Rock Ballet Folklórico in 1988 with the vision of creating a space where individuals of all backgrounds could learn, grow, and connect through the art of dance. As a dedicated educator for over 35 years, she has played a vital role in shaping cultural arts programs throughout the city.

Driven by her passion and belief in the power of dance, Yolanda has empowered countless dancers to express themselves, embrace their heritage, and give back to their community.

Over the past two decades, Round Rock Ballet Folklórico has seen remarkable growth, with participation increasing year after year. Today, more than one hundred dancers attend classes—and under Yolanda’s guidance, they gain more than just choreography. Each student leaves with a deeper understanding of Mexican traditions, cultural pride, and the values that folklórico embodies.
